CraftsMan 3.7, poulan 3700, Felling trees and taking 2 at a time, a 2 fer. Actually cutting trees for firewood, something you rarely see on Axe men, I had no choice but to cut both of these trees at the same time like dominoes, Felling, 2 80 year old trees only growing intertwined and only a few feet apart, meant one or both would hang up on the other, making a very dangerous situation as i use a garden tractor for skidding logs, and it would not be heavy enough to pull these 20" logs down.
I also need to have the oak tree i wanted for firewood fall on my trail to make it easier to saw into manageable logs. Here i use a powerful old chainsaw with a very worn out bar and chain on trees of a diameter as big as the bar. This made the cutting harder than needed as the chain cuts a more narrow curf allowing the chainsaw bar to get stuck in the tree.
