Video:1968 vintage Sears Custom garden tractor
Made in the USA from the late 50's to early 70's and sporting a horizontal shaft Briggs and Stratton engine, the sears custom line has always taken a back seat to the better advertised Cub cadet, and John Deere lawn and suburban garden tractors, but this machine gives up nothing and will out live the newer sears craftsman tractors around the yard and garden. The idea behind the madness is to be able to connect a generator or a log splitter to the output shaft of the engine, reducing the maintenance of all my farm tools to just one engine, plus re powering with one larger Briggs and Stratton engine will be easy and cheap enough.
In this video i show you the PTO pulley size on the sears CUSTOM 7 garden tractor. NEW VIDEO: skidding firewood with sears suburban garden tractor =
